Looking to add XM to the bike and hoping someone has one they don't want or a lead on one at a significantly more reasonable price than the dealers.

Why not just use your phone. Spotify is cheaper. That's what I do. Already paying for a cell phone that I don't use all the data for anyways.

I have never seen this module installed on any bikes. I saw the CB module. Pretty cool on a XCT.

I think XM radio will be a thing of memory in the next five years.

I already use Bluetooth and my phone since I am grandfathered in to an old Verizon plan with unlimited data. The problem is where is live fm reception sucks and a lot of places I travel don't have good cell reception since they're so remote.

Also, with my new Silverado I just got I have satellite radio for the first time and actually find I love it since it gives me a great variety to listen to. As long as cell service has drops in coverage I think there will be a satellite radio market. Considering you can barter with them on what you pay its not costly either. I'd much rather have that than the cb module for the xc bike.

I ended up picking up the onyx sat radio and a 30 pin to 3.5 auxiliary cable. Mounted the radio inside the left glove box. Think I've got around 60 bucks in the setup. I usually keep the radio on octane 38, but have a handful of channels programmed so I can change going down the road if I want too.
Cell service is sketchy when playing around in the mountains of NC, GA, and Tenn so the satellite option works best for me unless you're in a tight valley then nothing really works, then I get to enjoy the music of motion.

Is that the whole kit or just the antenna? They also don't seem to sell the other parts needed.
