Aftermarket Flysceen Wanted

Had one on my Thunderbird Storm and now I want one on the Gunner. I cannot find one that fits online.

Has anyone installed an aftermarket flyscreen? I'm looking for one of those $150ish ones, NOT the OEM $369 screen plus hardware!

Small budget here. And I will NOT put on a windshield. I'm looking for a flyscreen only.

Thanks for any help!

Dave, did you ever end up ordering this screen or finding another that worked well for the Gunner? I'd like to do the same, but I'm concerned about the look, I certainly don't want a full windshield on this bike.

I'd love to see what one of these looks like on any Vic if someone can post a pic if they have it?

No, I never bought anything. I have a dart Flyscreen that was on my triumph but the brackets are too wide for these fork tubes. According to them, they don't make brackets for the Gunner. With a baby coming, having them made for me is no longer an option.

Don't know if these numbers hold up.. But when I sold my Kaw-Er6n [09?] I kept a flysceen that I got from Twisted Throttle, And just for kicks I tried it on my Gunner, It is a perfect fit..
The number's etched on the screen are; TYP-VNB- KBA- 37960...

Do you have the part number or the fork size for the brackets as the screen is universal but the brackets are not.

Maybe we are talking different screens, but when I had mine installed on my Thunderbird, it clearly attached to the forks between the top and bottom triple trees- just like the pic Clem posted.

That's the same screen I have in my garage Clem-
Did you use the universal rubber fillers or did you order a specific set of brackets to fit the Vic?

N2534 was the one I bought for the T-bird, N2530 is what they state the Gunner uses. They should be identical, but I'd imagine that the brackets are larger for the N2534. That would explain why they look goofy when I try to put them on the Gunner. I'll bet they use two universal sizes of brackets- one large, one small, then add in a bunch of rubber spacers to each one to fit all of the bikes out there and the T-bird has the large set so no amount of spacers will make it fit- and if so, it would look out of place.

I'll contact them to see about getting the smaller brackets.

Thanks!

Yup- just called and verified- I'd have to order "Bag #020" which has the smaller brackets and rubber fillers- cost of $48.00 plus shipping to get my old one to fit.
So, it is just a matter of different fork mount sizes.

+1 on the National Cycle Fly Screen paid $135 on Amazon. Part number N2531 for the tinted one or N2530 for the clear one. Not too big and gets the air off my chest. Makes cruising at highway speeds much more enjoyable.
