Can anyone give me any insight on the Sena Bluetooth Dongle in order to route the bikes radio to your helmet speakers? It is crazy expensive, but before buying, wanted to get some feedback on quality, etc.
I am getting ready to purchase (and not from Victory) a Sena SMH-10 helmet system with the SMH-A304 to use with my GPS and iPhone, but really wanted to have the option to listen to the radio too.
Do you ride 2-up? If you do, you'll need a DOUBLE set up. Yes twice the price. Ain't that nice?
Forget getting the radio ino the headsets. Vic hosed that one from the get-go. If you have something you want to share, or need to plug in to facilitate the blue tooth, or have multiple devices you would like to use, (more than the headset will pair to) check out the SENA 10 dongle. It will allow to plug to say an MP3 player and connect to multiple headsets. I have a bluetooth MP3 and wish it would have explained it was only good for one headset, I would have gone that way for about the same price and had much more flexibility. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sena-sm10-dual-stream-bluetooth-stereo-transmitter
This will fit the bill.
Usually the pair of headsets is around 1.5 times the single unit in terms of price. I found amazon has pretty good prices on these units and free shipping.
