wish I still had the 63 Fuelie Split Window I owned for 13 years
A client I did a bit of work for about 10 years ago had a '63 in his basement that had been in complete dis-repair (1/8th the way through a self restoration) that he simply would not let go of. He was getting on in age with no heirs. I 1/2 jokingly offered to have him leave it to me in his will so that he knew that someone, some day would give it the tender loving restoration that it needed. I believe that his exact words were "It's going to be buried with me if I still own it when I die."
It's not just any victory.... It's MY Victory!

If you listen to the end of this, the host acknowledges that the cornering and brakes of the car are unbelievable, but the bike wins because it has much better acceleration.
I think it's better to have the faster vehicle behind the slower one so one can see the bits where the slower one has its advantages and disadvantages. With the faster one out front, there is no reference except that one is faster than the other.
I think both parties should get familiar with the track first to really wring this out, and run it individually, best time being the winner.
