Hello Gents,
I just purchased the bike used and the dealer where I bought it told me that I have wireless Bluetooth. I got it home and read the manual and could not find anything about Bluetooth. So I called the local Victory dealer and they said I don't have Bluetooth. Can someone who has a 15 XCT tell me if it does have Bluetooth? If it does, how do you pair it? If not, what is the best adaptor can I purchase to get Bluetooth. I want to still use my hand controls to change songs and things. Thanks
Bluetooth is an add-on accessory on the XCT. It does not come with it, but may have been added to your bike. It comes in the form of a Sena brand dongle that is attached to an otherwise-unused plug inside the fairing.
The dongle attempts to pair each time the ignition is turned on. If you have a Bluetooth device and set it to pair (discover), and then turn on the ignition, they should see each other. There is no display screen user interface on the dongle.
I called my local dealer yesterday and they dont know anything about it. WTF How could they not know. Well, you know have a part # and a pic of the which plug it is in the fairing? There a several unused ones. I just cant believe how uninformed dealers can be. The dealer didnt even know if my bike came with bluetooth or not. LOL I'm glad I found this forum. Thank you guys.
Witchdoctors carries it. You can see what it looks like on their site. Just plugs into the DC power source plug. So on the fairing it should be on the lower left side.
Simohoss
sure would be nice if you add year and model to your signature
