Clunking with clutch pulled in

Hey guys, any thoughts about a clunking I'm getting with my clutch pulled in? I'm thinking it might be coming from the front pully because it was 95+ degrees today and I'm thinking my belt got tight. I don't notice it at all with the clutch engaged, either accelerating or decelerating. I'm thinking it could be related to riding down a dirt couple dirt roads maybe a rock got wedged. Any advice or thoughts? Help is appreciated!

I assume you have a XR or XC since you are in that forum? What year? This is why complete profiles and signatures help us to help you. Things are different in the trannys (not THOSE trannys) of 2010s and the rest. You did not say if the sound occurs when stopped and in neutral or under way. More info on your part gets more answers from us. We really want to help, so help us.

Clunks like bangs or does it sound like rocks being rattled around in a coffe can? If it's the second it's the neutral finder and it goes away when you learn when and how much clutch to pull.
