Anyone know how to reset the tipover 520200 error code? See attached pic.

Background: as I left for work, bike wasn't quit fully warmed up yet, get to first stop sign by my house, did a rolling stop and slipped the clutch.. bike stalled on the left hand turn and decided that we would make a scene in front of my neighbor's house... that SLLLLOOOOOOOWWWW motion tipover where you struggle to pull her upright and years of experience go out the window..... she rested on the ground gently... used my recent squat workouts and brought her upright like a pro... neighbor runs out to see if I needed help.. nope, got this technique down.... wouldn't start at first.. cycled key a few times then she started right up.... I rode into the sunrise with a bruised ego and made it into work... error code showing on the screen....I know it's the tip over error code from doing a quick google search....

question, how do I reset it?

Take it easy on the responses... still butthurt over the "incident"...

i guess after 10 the bike assumes it is not on its side anymore ? :ltr:

Code stays stored on ECM. Only true way of clearing is with Digital Wrench.

Code went away when I went to start the bike to head home for the day...so back to normal now..ego recovered also as I tested myself on a few emergency stops, u-turns and 360 awareness....

Move along folks... all good....

Is this only on the newer (ie 2016/2017) Cross Country Tours? My bike has never given me any kind of tip over error code, and I have deliberately set it over on it's side (gently of course) in my garage to practice and make sure I knew how to pick it back up again so I wouldn't look or feel stupid when it happens out in the real world. Or maybe the fact I didn't just shove it over and it's a shock sensor and that is why I never got a code??

And as a side note, if you are going to do the same and practice picking it up, make sure you don't have over a half a tank of fuel in it. It's amazing how fast it will spill fuel from the vent tube and over flow while it is on it's side, even if only for a minute or two. Good thing I don't smoke :eek

Was your bike running when you gently set it on its side? Think the bike needs to be running for the sensor to kick in and turn off the engine.

I tipped mine over when running and moving! (slowly) The only error code I got was the bright red warning light that was my face.....:ride:
