I got the engine light again. This time the screen shows " ERR 0 3 520210" Can somebody help me understand what this means?
Last time I got the light I took the bike to dealer, but of course, light went out right before I arrive. They checked and said the computer showed that I have a stage 1 kit, but I dont, I debaffled the exhaust and the ECU thinks I have the stage 1. This new code stays on until I turn off the bike. Once I shut off it erases, but light still on, probably for a while.
Where can I get an error code sheet so I stop worrying about this? If this is a lean condition given to the debaffled exhaust , I plan on installing a fuel tuner to solve this issue.
Have you unplugged your 02's.
If so plug them back in and code should go away. They say if you want the 02's unplugged on 16 and 17 models. UN hook the black wire
Everybody points towards the O2 sensors, But I would like to know what the code means. Here is a recap....
Mine is a '17 magnum. I did unplug the sensors a few months ago, and realized the code and check engine light would be on, so I plug them back in. code and light went away. A few weeks ago light came back, this time I didn't touch anything, dealer blamed my debaffled exhaust for making the ECU think I have a Stage 1 kit ( which I don't) That time the light went away before I got to the dealer. Third time light came back (still on) and I saved the code, " ERR 0 3 520210". Yesterday I re-check battery connections and unplug the black cable from the sensors and re plug the rest to harness. I have not ride it yet, but I hope this solves my problem.
I would love to get me a site where I can go to check codes.
Thanks again for all your inputs.
If you google ERR 0 3 520210 there is an Indian error code list available. 520210 is in the list as an Oxygen sensor fault. The 0 and the 3 provide greater detail.
Great Info, this actually helps a lot. Knowing what the source of the problem is. Is there anywhere I can get a full break down of the codes for future reference. I'll appreciate it.
Arrrgh...!!! I disconnected the black cable from the sensors connector( and fold and tape out of the way) and plugged them back to the harness. I now have this codes. Err 1 5 3056, Err 0 5 520333. Which relates to the O2 sensors from a web search to the indian. I want to get rid of the codes and the engine light. PLEASE HELP!!!
Also would like to know if this ok to ride, I really love to ride this bike!!
Update... I plugged back in the black cable to the connector and replugged to harness. The engine light stayed on without the code for a few days and disappear after that. So far is good and "engine light " free. I'll post back any changes.
Ride safe!!
