My 1100cc Honda Shadow had grips like that and at first it felt akward when I first drove it but after I got use to them they were in fact the most comfortable handle bar/grip setup I've ever had on a motorcycle.

The current grips on my XCT don't seem to bother me much, except for my right much more than my left hand going to sleep which may be due to improper grip angle??), but I do wonder how those would feel on the XCT.

Where do you get the black luggage rack? Is there a link?

The black luggage rack was a Victory one that does not work with the hard saddle bags. My Victory dealer, top guys at Thunder Road in Birmingham UK re-fabricated them to work so I could go touring... Top marks for a dealer that puts in 200% for their customers

I'd say:

1. victoryhid.com - so quick and easy, safer, and a huge improvement over the stock bulb

2. GPIII's - not everyone enjoys the musical note these put out, but I sure do

3. Last, and probably the most impactful now that cooler weather is here? Memphis Batwing. Incredibly effective at keeping cold wind off me. The look has grown on me so much in a few short months I bet it stays on more than I would have originally intended. With the 9" screen insert, it makes riding at 80mph with a half helmet completely comfortable. Oh, and very loud for the cars to the right of me

I have a 2010 X C and have done all the exhaust, and chrome stuff. Now I'm waiting for my cams from lloydz with the power commander.

I think I'm done.
