Exhaust question....knee room

Got a friend thats going to build me some pipes. They are similar to the conquest custom Octanes, but not exact. Anyone out there have them or similar with the front pipe going over the cam cover? How much room does your knee have, when stopped can you sit with both feet on the ground? How much of a hassle is it if you have to ride with your knee out. Thanks!!

If your building your owen custom pipes make the bends and routing the way you want it.
We can't tell you what is what its all up to you and the way you bend the pipes. Leg room is your bending and you can put it where you want.

Thanks Johnny
I guess my question is more directed to whoever has the "octanes, groundponders or zoomies" and how much room they have.

Like Vision said best case scenario is have your friend make to suit you. As far as the original quesiton I have the zoomies and I don't have any issues or feel my legs are in a weird spot when I have my legs down.

I will apologize up front, that is because I am going to ask a question under someone else's thread. LOL Since we are on the conversation of exhaust, has any one measure or know what size header pipes are on the XC/XR bikes?

Thanks

As long as your going to steal this guys thread you could do your owen measuring on your owen pipes or you could call your dealer or a friend.
