I visited a great business that we all know and love. RPW! Great people down there and so much fun to walk through the production area and warehouse. I'm lucky enough to live 5 minutes from their facilities.
Picked up a VFC-III for the Jackpot and some scored some swag.
I rode to get info on a job, looks like I'll join the working class again. My retirement was a short 3 months but with what they're willing to pay and my pension I can soon buy me a Highball to go with the Cross Country dance 1. I did manage to hit the shooting range and shoot my primary carry (Glock 23) and a pocket auto I recently aquired (Taurus PT 738) so that was fun.
I'm still too young to totally retire and I have a teenager and almost a teenager at home so they'll need help with cars and my Son needs baseball gear, Wife wants a new SUV, etc. etc, :eek besides, my Wife is younger than me and she's got 10 more years to retire. I'll do another 7 years until I'm 62, pad my 401, then ride my ass off for 3 years and then she can join me.
Figured I'd bring this back rather than start a new post.
Over the last few weeks I've been in contact with RPW some more. They needed a Jackpot for some modeling stuff and I was looking at replacing my pipes. My bike had a set of slash pipes on it when I got it but they were showing their age. The previous owner just didn't care for the bike the way I would/do.
Long story short they borrowed my bike for a couple of weeks and I got a smokin deal on a shiny new set of slash pipes. Picked it up last Friday but went back today for some pictures in the sunshine. Also got to drool over Deb's new Scout and the sweet set of pipes Gary made for it. What a great bunch of people. Can't say enough about them and look forward to doing more business with them in the future.
