Sounds like this is cams & tri-ovals only - no lloyds filter, timing wheel, PCV, etc. Looking at dyno curves, the factory & even K&N flat filters choke it bad & flatten everything above 4500.
Will be good to see one with the filter & timing wheel, since there are so many of those setups already documented to compare to.
Would be great if all the people making cams would show all the specs to compare across the board.
Mine runs great with lloyds filter, timing wheel, PCV, & tri-ovals (AT tuned). No dyno sheets, so no numbers, but makes good power everywhere above 2500. Just what a CCT needs, but may get cams this winter, unless I dig into a hammer :)

The Magnum is Stage 1'd to start. I don't think those Stage 2 numbers are too bad, considering the bike has to leave the shop EPA compliant and the "tuning" is done by a canned ECU flash. I bet the Stage 2 feels really strong compared to the Stage 1.

Ok... Here's the point I would like to make.

What we see in the video is after a stage 1 AND a stage 2 with the dealer installing both. 100/108?

Below is a stage 1 comprised of: Tri-Ovals, Lloydz air filter, timing wheel, PC-V and tune. See the torque? It's 4 HP down on the Vic/S&S system, but 5 up on torque and the engine is UNTOUCHED.

OK... so the question becomes...

Why would one go into the engine and change the cams just to get stage 1 performance?

Adding drop in cams to one of the set-ups above and have HP and torque in the mid 100-teens. Add HPT cams instead, more like 120/120.

So... I'm sorry, but I see nothing impressive about this stage 2 bullshit. You do this Victory/S&S stage 2, I'll do an aftermarket stage 2... Then we'll meet at MDIR and I'll show you the difference between a horse and a pony.

Lloydz is offering a warranty with his cams now. No biggie since there has NEVER been a cam related failure reported. EPA compliant... who cares? There is no motorcycle emissions testing in the US.

A fool and his money soon go their separate ways.

You really need an attitude change....a boot off your high horse. You're an ASS and the fool. HC you're getting sickening to me, I've had it with watching you berate me and others at every chance you get. I don't care what you act like outside of here, but your bullshit ego pumps aren't need here.

Honestly, do you think that the average motorcycle buyer has the mechanical knowledge you do? Do you believe they all jump on the forums and read up on every nuance of performance tuning? Are they going out to race every bike they run into...?
Not the case...The majority of motorcyclists are regular people, that just about know how to ride a motorcycle, never see a forum and just want to enjoy their bike when they ride. This Stage1, 2 or whatever companies offer is an up-sell for these average riders who aren't wrenching their bikes or going to cam and dyno parties. Also, for those smart buyers that prefer a "factory only" machine. Who gives a **** what the dyno #'s are if the bike's owner is happy.

Seeing as Vic has just made this available, and Lloydz/Wyrd, etc have been out and in the wild for much longer, with much better results, I would shy away from the Vic Stage2 system. If I'm going to drop that much money, I'm gonna do it right and with systems that have already been proven.

It's penciled into the schedule for next spring :)

If you're a new buyer and walk into the dealer and buy a bike more then likely you're going to finance it. So now you can get some horsepower thrown into the financing to boot. So yes for the new guy or even second time buyer this is a good deal.
Sure we all know dollar for dollar its not worth it but on the hand it is

Now that there is a baseline for the factory stage one and stage two cams, I'd like to see these cams used in conjunction with the usual goodies of PCV, Air filter, and timing wheel. We know that a Vic Shop stage one will spank a factory stage one all day, what will the chart and numbers look like when these cams are actually given a chance and tuned properly with the right add ones?

Where ever did you get a crazy idea like this ............
Oh you know, monkey see, monkey do, or something. Now, just gotta save the clams before then. I hope there's a lot of broken sewing machines between now and then ;)

The difference between LLoydz and Polaris/S&S package are pretty easy to understand. If LLoydz builds you a bad ass motor and you blow it up it costs LLoydz nothing. Fact is LLoydz just made money selling you the parts and possibly installing them. While it was running it was great free advertising for LLoydz that they have the right parts to build fast motors from.

If Polaris builds you a bad ass motor and you blow it up it costs Polaris a new motor and new bad ass parts to replace those you destroyed, all under warranty and Polaris gets a rep for putting out motors that aren't able to be built into performance motors.

I don't see any economic advantage in Polaris building you a bad ass motor. There is just no way it can turn out well for them.

I think the dyno numbers show that the folks at Polaris still understand how money gets made.
