Wow. Looks like Victory Motorcycles will be a thing of the past. Polaris will now focus more energy onto Indian and their other offerings. Honestly I can't say it's a huge surprise, considering how successful Indian has been since Polaris picked them up...

Quote:
MINNEAPOLIS (January 9, 2017) Polaris Industries Inc. (NYSE: PII) today announced it will immediately begin winding down its Victory Motorcycles brand and related operations. Polaris will assist dealers in liquidating existing inventories while continuing to supply parts for a period of 10 years, along with providing service and warranty coverage to Victory dealers and owners.

Well, as a business owner, I can't fault them too much. They are a business, after all. They're in it to make money. If Victory was losing money for Polaris, it seems like a good business decision for them, regardless of where that puts us. They will continue to support the brand in terms of warranty and parts for 10 years.

Time to start saving for an Indian!

So will Polaris expect Vic owners to switch their loyalty over to Indian?
