Alright I don't normally post stuff like this. My sisters in-laws were rear ended last weekend. They had rode their bike to Gulf Shores and spent the day down there. They made it all the way home and as they were sitting stopped, waiting to turn into their driveway, a young guy was coming down the road behind them. He says he was looking into the backseat at a fussy baby, but he hit them at around 65+ mph in a Chevy Silverado. The bike is destroyed from the tank back, and the truck looks like it hit a pine tree. Mr. Donnie had both of his lungs collapse, broken vertebrae, broken ribs, road rash and had to be picked up by helicopter. Mrs Delories had a broken pelvis, ankle, ribs, and enough road rash that it literally ripped her clothes off at the accident. When they got to the hospital one of her lungs collapsed. Its been a rough week, and they are still in the ICU/CCU. They have both had 2 different surgeries already and looks like they are finally starting to get better. My wife set up a Gofundme for them, as Donnie had been layed off for a few months but was supposed to go back to work this last Thursday. If anyone wants to donate, they are appreciated, but if you cant donate please pray for them.

Thanks for your prayers

The boy that hit them, and the baby are both fine.

Sorry to hear of this accident. I hope their recovery goes well.
It goes to show you that distracted driving come in many forms.

I would request the mods rename the title as I see nothing wrong with a post like this.

My thoughts an d prayers to that unfortunate couple. No mention of citations, insurance or attorneys. Can you fill us in? This should be an open and shut case since the pickup driver admits fault.
