Kickstand extension

On my new Victory, the kickstand is a little farther forward than my old bike and a little hard to find when I'm parking, so I'm looking for a kickstand extension just to make it easier to find and put down. Are those pretty universal? Have any of you made your own? Most of the ones I've seen, so far, are around $50.

By the way, this bike is amazing to ride, it was a huge upgrade from my previous bike!

Thanks broggyr.

My website has given folks trouble in the past. If you decide to order one, and have website/order issues, let me know and I will take your order over the phone. Usually ships out the same day.

Or you can purchase them through one of the many other vendors that sell our extensions.

Witchdoctor's sells them but he's got a premium price on them for some reason.

Does it make the sidestand scrape easier?

Mines dragging now on some left handers,

Wouldn't wanna make it worse.

My pipes and floorboards always hit first. I don't think the kickstand's gonna have any trouble.

When folded up, the extension sits right where the original kickstand is but it just sticks out a little more, much easier to find with your boot.

I was working on installing then Noemtz kickstand extension, but I'm having trouble getting through the old rivets with my drill. I think the bit I'm using is too small, can anyone tell me what size to use?

Gosh, I can't remember now. But whatever the diameter of the rivet is.

Did you drill from the top or the bottom?

The 1/4 drill bit did the trick.

The extension looks great. I bet it's a lot easier to lower it now.
Because there is no rubber on it anymore do you see if it is metal on metal when it is folded up?
Can you take a close-up picture of it in the retracted position where it touches the frame for me please?

Sure, I'm in Austin today, but I'll get a picture when I get home this evening.

It is metal to metal in the retracted position. I'm thinking I'll just glue a rubber piece right where it hits. There's actually a spot where it's made to hit.

Thanks @icewnters, excellent photos.
I thought something must go there and that I lost it but mine looks exactly like yours.
We should come up with a simple way to have some rubber there to prevent noise and scratches.
Thanks again.

Try a wide piece of heat shrink? Over time though I would imagine it might wear a hole but its cheap. :)

How about a short piece of fuel tubing?

Good ideas, and all that. :D

I tuck a piece of fuel line hose cut it the long way and slid it on the kickstand.
I placed it up by the pivot mounting bolt. Now it works like a bumper with no clunk. It hasn't moved it just rest there.
So Paul look at the top of the kickstand instead of the bottom
