Magnum wheel on a vegas?

Wanting to swap to a wider front and like the look of the 21 inch wheel just want something a little wider. Like the look and the reasonable cost of swapping to the Magnum front wheel. Just a little hesitant to pull the trigger without some confirmation it will work. Not worried about the fender fitment issues. My concern is with the axle spacers, rotor fitment, and brake compatibility etc. Also if there are any other concerns I may have missed.
I tried the search on this forum and elsewhere and only found one posting that someone had done this swap and pm'd them with no response as yet. Just hoping for a little more insight.
Bike is a 2011 Vegas Eight Ball.

Thanks to all in advance.

Looking at switching the wheel so that I can fit that specific tire. Currently running the 90 series Avon (which as I understand is the widest tire that will fit the stock wheel safely) and can't say enough about how that helped the handling of the bike over the stock Dunlop. Wanting to go with the wider wheel/rim off of the Magnum if possible, to safely fit the wider tire.

If you're willing to put the time in, you can compare the specific parts needed for the front wheels with the stocker(spacers, bearings etc) you'd be surprised at the universal parts. That's what I did to ensure the gunner wheels would fit properly on my Highball. Of course it was between two steel framed bikes. But it might get you in the right direction.

Great thought. I've dug through the schematics and the rotor and bolts are the same as are the spacers. The caliper is different and I'm thinking that may be due to the abs?

Thanks for the input. Going to get stuff ordered up soon but pry wait for the weather to turn before swapping over. Favorite time of year to ride coming up.

Thanks again

I have an 08 Vegas and bought the 21" magnum cast wheel for it. I have received it and the 120 Cobra tire but have not go it installed. I am excited and think it will look great. Let me know if you need any specific dimensions as I have everything in my shop.

The only question I have about the fitment is that the wheel has both sides machined for a rotor I presume and the vegas only uses the one. I found in a post here that a guy did a similar swap and bought a cover cap with a Vic PN 1521280-266 for it but I wasn't sure what the cover was for. I planned to leave that side un covered.

I was going to buy a generic 21" fender from ebay, fab the mounts and have it painted to avoid buying a Klockwerks fender.

it gets real expensive if you add things up

45° hammer rake front fork
2 rims
extra rotor & calliper and brake lines
