Victory offers the tri oval stage one package which includes a flash

They also offer the stage one upgrade which looks like regular mufflers which also has a flash

Does anyone know what the difference is between these flashes?

There are stage 1 slip-ons are cosmetically nearly identical to the regular loadout. Performance wise I couldn't say what the difference is. Cost wise the regular stage 1 mufflers are a couple hundred bucks less than the Tri-Ovals. I would assume the flashes are the same.

Stage one pipes and flashes are designed to make dealers richer when you buy the bike. As well as cosmetic accessories and clothing.
Gives you the impression of better performance through a sound increase.
And less weight by relieving your wallet.
Aftermarket pipes, intake, and PCV will give a real increase for around the same money.

I was told by Victory themselves. They said a flash will add 2% more fuel and up the rpm by 2%. Not worth the money in my book

I dunno. But based on the big ol fine HD just got, I would say whatever the dealer can flash is still going to be with in the boundary to make emissions. I would presume the aftermarket fuel controls etc would be able to actually make an increase in performance.
