lost power

2001 victory deluxe cruiser 32000 miles last ride about 120miles 10 miles from home lost power no noise no smoke just running on one cylinder got it home found i lost compression in front cylinder anyone else had this problem

Are you SURE you lost compression?? The throttle must be held open to do a compression test on these engines

I took the bike to local victory shop they said it lost compression they told me they did not have the equipment to do head work and told me I should try another victory shop .I am not real pleased with them ! I guess I will tear into my self . thanks for your reply

That is just crazy. Most likely you have a broken valve spring. The good news is that is you are willing to go to a aftermarket intake. You can sneak the front head off without pulling the motor
