BigRed188 and I have talked about them several times and one of us is probably going to send them off for powder coating and see how that works out. Another option would be having them anodized or black oxidized (im not sure if they are steel or aluminum)
I found a site, buywitchdoctor.com, that only deals with Victory's and they will powder coat your levers for $15 each. You remove the levers, send them to them, and they say you will have them back within a week. All for a total of $30. Not a bad price.

I cover a lot of things with vinyl. Fun to work with and stretches. Did the forks this way so it can be removed by just pulling the rod out. Can just be glued on.

I have to grow old but I don't have to grow UP.thumb up. 2010 Jackpot.

Dude, I am over here DROOLING over your bike! SICKNESS!!!!! Looks freaking awesome!

I say you get the black contrast cut fat fork kit...it will make the forks look fatter and will black them out. Both upper and lowers. I think Conquest Customs sells them, as does victoryonly.com

Now you just need some covers on that right side cheese wedge to cover that hole!

2003 Vegas - straight pipes, Big Sucker air filter kit, black powder coated everything - foot controls, handlebars, clutch and brake housing, fork lowers, luggage rack, wheels, digital speedo with powder coated housing. Relocated key switch, red plug wires. Mustang solo seat. LED ring blinkers in front. Black DEI pipe wrap.

you are probably right about the levers. they would definitely be better powder coated.
Youre right about that - if you plasti-dip the lowers, it is going to strip off the second you hit a bump and the fork compresses...the seals might get damaged too... Not worth the risk on that.

Oh - now all you need is some heat wrap on the pipes too! They make it in black!

Yea contemplating what to do with the hole. Might use an invisakey setup on both sides so u can't tell where the key is. Or I might use a screen like mesh behind it for my LEDs to show through.

The plastidip doesnt add any significant thickness to the speedo. Mine is 4 maybe 5 coats and its still only the thickness of a sheet of paper maybe. I dont remember what i wrote earlier but if i suggested plasti dip on anything but the upper forks between the trees it was a mistake. It would deffinitely peel off the lowers.

go to barracuda.com and check out their cool cheese wedge badges. You can get a nice black one with just a little detail on it, and it covers that hole completely.

Thats what I did!
