Bags on Hammer S

Got my Victory Bags installed yesterday and I am pretty happy overall. I wanted some space to be able to take a weekend's worth of cloths with or even just some snacks for a ride. The hardware that came with the quick connect mounts was all stainless which is nice but it came in a ziplock baggie which I found to be odd. Either way it was all there. When the bags are off the small posts are hardly noticeable.

Pics....

Standoff posts.

Nice

What kind of bags are those? I have been holding off on bags as long as possible because I like the look without them better. I am starting to look now for something that can be a quick disconnect for weekend trips like you had mentioned. Wearing the backpack is getting old lol.

Its a little hard to tell due to angle and lighting in the pic which bags those are, but i am looking into some as well because the backpack is definitelly getting old. Give them a run and let us know how u like them.

How much did yours cost?

These are the ones i have my eye on:

I have a set of used ones I would be willing to sell. Will include EZ quick disconnect mounts with them. Left bag has some damage to it as a lady in white toyota decided she needed my lane more than I did. Would sell them for $250 plus actual shipping.

These are the victory bags. Its the only set that fits on the Hammer. They come off in seconds and lock on. So someone cant steal the bag. The lid doesn't lock but at least they wont run off with the bag and your stuff.

They are $659 from victory. Part numbers 2876161,2876146

Could you shoot a pic from the opposite (right) side (from the kickstand lean) so I could see how high they ride on the fender opening? Your picture LOOKS lower than the ones above on the copper-colored bike, and I like that position better, but can't really tell. thx.

Exactly. thx. They appear to be deeper and larger than those on the copper bike above. I prefer the smaller look, but they probably have a more complicated attachment.

I would say that they are the same bag from victory but the picture may be deceiving. I am also not sure of the mounting brackets he is using. I really like the quick connect feature because in all honesty the bags ruin the look of the bike a little but for long rides i need a place for my stuff.
