This is my Hammer I picked up over the winter, shown before I lowered it 1" in the rear. I pretty much love everything about it except for the rear turning signals.

DS ..I like the color . You should get some LED's . The good looks outweigh the cost , they are worth it . Check out the front fork wrap around LED's . People don't know they are on there until you turn them on. I like the two into one pipes also . Nice ride ..

I agree on the LED's. I'd love to see some in person. I haven't seen another Hammer in the KC area yet. The current signal setup in the back has a terrible "christmas tree" look going on. I will post more pics after I get a few things switched. I love all the chrome on your bike. That's a great color scheme you have going there.

I decided to make my Hammer a little unique. I truely love the Hammer S, especially the 2009 with the Boardwalk Blue with Pearl Clearcoat color scheme. I decide to make my owne version of it. I still have a few more things to paint, the center stripe down the fenders and tank and chroming the calipers, but it is coming along. I posted this over on the *** but ust thought that I would share with you all as well.

Here is the list of mods, besides the paint, that went on as well:

Rad III Controls
Chrome Switch Housings
Rad II Mirrors
Braided Cables
Internal Wiring in the Handle Bars
Chrome Triple Tree
Chrome Swingarm
Ness Chrome Adjusters
S&S Intake and Download
Victory 2-1 Performance Exhaust
Polishing of all stock Stainless Steel Bolts, Spacers and Washers
Chrome Drive Pulley Bolts and Chrome Rotor Bolts

This is my first motorcycle and I had to get the best! 09 Hammer, Stage 1. My brother-in-law was great about striping my bike last month. I asked for a Maltese Cross and blue flames. it represents the Fire Dept and the Navy. His name is Sean Carey if anyone is interested PM me and I'll get you his contact info. Lucky Stripes is the name of his company. He's out of Wichata KS

Seedman, thanks for the advice. I looked up the LED's and you are right about the good looks vs. cost. I put the rear LED's on and the MBW radiused sidemount just the other day. It looks much cleaner and makes for a very sleek rear appearance. It was surprisingly simple, even for someone of my limited mechanical skills. I also recently dropped the rear 1" with the lowering links.
All went great...
Now onto the front wrap around LED's. I bought them and the load equalizer, but I'm a little hesitant to tackle that after reading some of the posts about people frying their ACM's. I can check the polarity with my light before I wire them in, so I'm not worried about getting that wrong. However, I don't know for sure what the ACM looks like (help!) so I can locate it and put the load equalizer in. I need to do some more digging around before I tackle the next phase. I will update my bike photo after I get the front LED's on. Thanks again.

I made all my connections behind the headlight . The equalizer just went " in line " with the signal lights . It's not connected to the ACM . I think there were instruction that came with the LED's . I can't recall at the moment . but yes there is a trick to the wires . Must do research first . ACM = $$$$ . Too many rum and cokes and too tired..sorry

Got the bike out today. we are having a heat wave here. It was 41. I have done a couple mods to the bike. New Touring seat" wife loves it". I did integrated rear turn signals. They are behind the tail light. It turned out great and it was only 50 bucks or so. I will be putting up a post on how I did it and what it looks light when they are on. I also made a license plate bracket. I also have a custom turbo that is going on in a few weeks. Time doesn't go fast enough.
