My point exactly. After a while the pix will become red X with a frame around them

After a while the pix will become red X with a frame around them

That happens because when the pics in photobucket are moved from the original location that they were posted from.

If I had a pic of Porti in my general folder then made another folder and moved the pic it would break the link and would show up as a "X" in a box.

diamondrmp

I dont know what the confusion is guys. There are many ways to upload images here. you can attach them when posting via the paperclip icon when creating posts. You can host them externally OR you can upload them to the gallery that is hosted on this site...

Sorry, no help to offer, the screen had already been installed by the dealer, along with the pipes and luggage rack before they put the bike on the floor.

Just installed the Jackpot HID headlight and lowered it 1" 1/4 with Ness links. I tried installing the Vic tachometer today while swapping out the headlight. I thought it would be plug and play install but coudnt figure it out (didn't see any connections that worked). I don't have the install instructions so I'll have to hunt some down.

I previously had a blacked out SuperFly windscreen mounted with the HID round headlight(see 1st pic below) but the windscreen didn't look right with the Jackpot headlight IMHO so I left it off.
I'll probably be selling both pieces if someone is interested.
I'll list it in the For Sale forum soon along with a bunch of other parts I have.

Debating on adding the memphis shades batwing quick release. Anyone know if it works well with the highway speeds?

ks_greg
05-16-2011, 09:10 AM
The Memphis batwing works great for me on the highway. I'm about 5'10" and once I got the angle of the shield set right, it sent almost all the air over my head. If I'd change to a 7" shield, It'd probably eliminate what's left, but I don't care for the gradient tint on the 7" & taller shields on my setup.
The batwings have some front/back adjustment on the top and bottom fork clamps so you can dial in the angle to where you want it. I set mine up to follow the fork angle, then tweaked it just a bit to improve airflow. Also, if you get it too high on the forks, the air will run in between the headlight and fairing. I am still running the stock plastic and haven't had it painted. It's a perfect match so no reason to spend the $$.http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x71/ks_greg/Keeper/KPR002.jpg

I would think so the bullet appears to be smaller diameter where it would meet up with the fairing. While the top part of the cutout is just right for the lamp housing, there is room on the sides.
You can get the complete setup for $350 and should be able to get free shipping at several places if you look around. I got mine from bikerhaven.net. Be advised you get to choose your hardware color of either polished or black. The only thing that was black are the brackets that attach the fairing to the fork clamps. The fork clamps are actually a polished aluminum. I had mine black powder coated for $10.

You might be fine with the lower 5" shield, unless you're wanting to stay behind the shield for bug protection. :)

Kingpin8baller, I got same bike a month ago. I was thinking about the bassani exhaust you have on your pin. Do you have to cut the frame to install it? I have heard that the 2 into 1 pipe is the best way to go for performance. How do you like it? Sweet bikes everyone!
