i purchased the ness slingshots (exhaust) for my 8-ball and had them installed when i bought the bike. well apparently ness industries made some mistakes in their victory catalog with some years dates and part#'s. i ended up with pipes that do not accept oxygen sensors which the closed loop fuel injection needs to perform properly. a tech at ness industries garaunteed that it would be fine so we went with it and at about 3500 miles i noticed some tuning characteristics showing up on the pipes and was concerned so back to the shop well come to find out my bike has been running in limp mode for the first 3500 miles of its life, just wonderin if it will have any long term effects or any effects at all. i have since corrected it and it seems to be fine. also hats off to ness industries they stood behind their mistake and did not have to.
