I am taking road trip to tennessee in may. About eight of us. Anyway, been watching youtube videos of crotch rockets hit the tail of the dragon (US RT 129) wondering if anyone here has seen any video of victories riding there. Anyone in forum from Tenn.? We want to know of other good rides while there.

If you are at the Tail of the Dragon, check out Fontana Dam then drop down to Robbinsville, NC and take the Cherohala Skyway back to Tellico Plains, TN. That makes a circle of about 150 miles of beautiful mountain scenery. I really like the Skyway, which is a limited access road that transitions from elevations of 900 to 6000 ft. You won't be disappointed.

Wasn't me, I just thought I would share. We are also planning a trip out that way this year. Hopefully we will be able to. We have been going to Gatlinburg area for 25 + years, never on a bike yet. Beautiful area. Ride safe

May is a great time to go, I've been there the last two years in May/June then again in October, perfect riding.
