I am looking to buy a Vegas and came across this bike on Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-Victory-Vegas-V92-1507CC-EFI-See-Video_W0QQitemZ130376700807QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_m otorcycles?hash=item1e5b0e9387

I am concerned about the check engine light and the discoloration of the exhaust pipes. There is a video link on there of the bike starting up and idling. Does the engine sound about right and should I be concerned with the discoloration of the pipes? It has 10k miles on it is that enough time to harm the engine with an incorrect fuel mixture?

Thanks for all of the helpful responses. I really look forward to joining the ranks of Happy Victory Owners.

I will save the discoloration of the pipes for KevinX because I'm unsure, but I can say with almost certainty that the engine light is no issue. The engine light is on due to the low battery. A simple reset is all that is needed and this can be done by you. Kevin will explain this procedure.

A better way to tell if it truely has been run lean is to have him pull the spark plugs and send you a picture.
