I have been considering changing over to Victory. I was curious on reliability and how many miles I can expect to get on the motorcycle? Do they back their product? I have been considering the Cross Roads or Cross Country. Thank you

hi john, i personally have been very happy with my bike, my dealer and the limited dealings with the manufacturer , when the other guys start chiming in here you will get a more complete picture, my son rides an o4 vegas bought new in late 03, my good friend bought an 05 hammer and my 09 vegas , absolutely no probs. a bullet proof bike, do your maintenance and you will be fine.
steve
PS hopefully the guy that bought the new bike that burnt up will post , the short story, the factory gave him a brand new bike with up-grades for his trouble in a timely manner.

Most Vic mechanics will tell you that if it came to repairs they would go broke. I make my money changing oil, hanging chrome, and making them go fast. Very few failures at all mechanically. Corperate sucks for the most part, but that seems to be the American way

LOL...like I've said before Victory mechanics are like the maytag repair man. LOL

When you ask how many miles you can expect to give. What do you mean, MPG?

While nothing is bullet proof. 20,000 is just barely broke in. With a Vic; think reliability levels on par with a late model car

I have 25k+ without a hitch. I know of two riders one with 200k no problems. The other just broke 130k on her bike she bought new 3 years ago. Neither has had any problems. They've done their maintenance and the bikes have been flawless.
I'm sure Kevin can testify to the following that Victory bikes are reliable with engine upgrades also. I know of 3 riders that upgraded to 106 and a 110 Lloydz engine without a problem. The one rider with the 110 has over 20k on that engine and that includes summers at the drag strip.
These bikes I've mentioning aren't exceptions to the rule they are the norm.

Yep what they have said. 30K miles and I have done oil changes and rear break pads. The more you ride them the better they get. Oh and don't ask a Vic owner what a valve adjustment is cause we don't know. Not a more reliable bike out there and intended for really big milage.
