I looked at this bike today and was impressed. I currently own a Harley Road Glide, never listen to the radio and do not need a full fairing. I would like to hear from those with a few miles on this bike, what is your impression so far? Thanks cheers

John

I can understand your other post about mileage etc...

But you need to go back to the Vic dealer and test ride the bike!!

YOU have to form your impression. Good example I love my Jackpot with the wide tire their are others that hate the wide tire handling.

People can tell you until they are blue in the face how wonderful X product is but until YOU try it out.............

You are right about a test ride. I just looked tody because I did not want to impulsebuy. So I am just asking others for their experiences. Thanks for your reply.

Put 500 miles on one that was getting picked up by the demo truck a few months back. Loved it!!!!!!!

I have 1300 miles on my Cross Roads (Midnight Cherry) I moved up from a Yamaha 950 Tourer and absolutely love the XR. It's so smooth and stable compared to the yamaha. And with the additional power and 6th gear it's the perfect cruiser for me. I also don't care for the faring, and so far I am very satisfied with the limited wind buffeting with just the windshield (no lowers installed). I am also impressed with the engineering, and fit and finish. I couldn't be happier with the bike, but I agree you need to take a test ride. Just be ready for the consequences when you actually ride it...it is awesome.....

Bought mine two weeks ago and have 500 miles on it....would have more if it would stop snowing here in Reno. Love the bike! Lots of power, well designed and comfortable.
My one gripe is that not many parts are available for it yet.

A lot of accessories are cross model products. Meaning things like engine covers etc. will work on the X bikes.

Yeah, I know. Im not very patient.
And you are right about different cross model products available for it, but it makes me sad to see something cool like a cheese wedge with a pair of cards etched into it and the script "Vegas"....just an example.

I got a $1000 coupon for buying Victory parts for the bike after a Fuel It Demo and there isn’t much to spend it on.

I think I misunderstood you. You're talking about accessories from Victory?
