I've got a 2005 Vegas with a damaged engine. Does anybody have a good, lower mileage 92 from a 2004 or 2005 they're looking to get rid of? I would prefer to buy in Ontario but am open to buying elsewhere in NA depending on shipping rates. I would also be open to a 100 with a six speed as long as it's not from a 250 tire bike.

Cheers, cheers

Just an FYI. The 02-06 92" is a direct bolt in. The 05-07 100" is much more then just a swap out if you go that way

KevinX,

I'm rebuilding the bike from a wreck. At this point, swapping the mounting to accommodate the 100 is doable. It's certainly something I would consider to get the extra gear.

Cheers, cheers

While it has been done. Nobody that has done it wants to do it again.
Bear in mind that the motor, and frame are structural members; thus there are no bolt on mounts to be changed. the 100/6 is 10mm narrower, there is some revised electronic, and the front drive pulley offset was changed.
Not trying to discourage you, but thought you needed to know

I appreciate the knowledge Kevinx. True technical knowledge from experience seems to be difficult to come across for these bikes.

Cheers, cheers
