Do you sell these? I like keeping the stock kickstand pad on while giving a little extra for your heal to find.

If you don't sell them, can you please provide additional information on how you made them to attached to the ball on the end?

Yes, I do make them, and have sold a few. They are held on the ball via set screw. I have made them out of aluminum, and steel (powdercoated), and with various ends on them.

Two guys presented their solution to a problem. I liked the second solution better because it allows you to keep the stock pad on the kickstand. He was not trying to sell these, I asked him if he would. This is called Freedom of choice. It is called Capitalism. Those are two things that are the building blocks of our way of life and should not be restricted. Let the best product win.

To all that design and make their own products...if you are able to mass produce it and are looking for a distributor.....give me a shout. I am always looking for new products to add to my line. Together we can both provide a good product to a current customer base that can benefit you, me and the customer.

But, please do what I do when I make a new product. I choose a few random people to give (free) the product to, have them try it out for a few months and give me a complete review on it. Good or bad...I want to know before I start selling it to the public.

This is a Victory Forum for all Victory enthusiasts like myself. At times, someone will do something wrong or say something that will offend someone else. None of us know all of the rules and etiquette to forum posting.

We need to all just take it as a learning experience and move on. I have been in the middle of some pretty nasty threads on many forums and the only thing that ever really came from it was a waste of time. Well, this thread got me off my butt and out to the garage to drill out the rivets and install the NOEMTZ extension and it works great. I think I'll glue a piece of the rubber from the kickstand to the frame where kickstand hits. It's not a must but I think it will just feel better.

It says I made my own, and that I am proud of my accomplishments in custom fabrication. I know exactly what it says. I highjacked no thread. It it not about kickstand extention?? Maybe I read that wrong. Did I post in my original post that I have a design of my own to SELL? Well??? PLEASE show me. Make no mistake, I do NOT plan on manufacturing, and selling my kickstand extentions, I was just showing something I made. When I was asked if I could sell, I replied. Noe sent me this:

As far as giving the site some sort of kickback for making things myself, it is not going to happen. I ride motorcycles to enjoy them, not to make money. I am an avid rider, and fix problems myself when I can.

I have to agree with Metalguy. The subject is Kickstand extensions. It seems to me that anything having to do with Kickstand extensions would be expected. Now, had he gone off on a tangent and started talking about custom mirrors or helmet locks and drove the discussion off topic, it would have been a hijacking.

So is the moderator suggesting that we have multiple threads titled "Kickstand extensions", one for each design??? That makes no sense.

Even the guy that started the discussion is not twisted up over this. Why is everyone else. I have been to his site and seen his stuff and it is cool. I will likely be one of his customers. I just happen to like the other design better and I'm glad I saw them.

I invest my time on this board to get exposed to what others are doing and to get ideas, not to be a part of a direct marketing campaign from "Chosen" sellers.

Cosmetically the metal guy's idea's are good and a good basis for something that could be mass produced if the extension reaches out far enough to do some good.

I think I'll paint or have the NOEMTZ extension powder coated black this winter to match up with my kickstand.

Just for the record, had I thought my comments would lead to petty bickering I would have kept them to myself. Most forums basically work the same way and there is a certain decorum to be followed. As bikers we tend to self-police the motorcycle-specific forums.

No, you and metalguy are wrong. This was Noe's thread advertising his product. It was not a member asking about extensions. Therefore it was a hijack.

Metalguy could just have easily started a thread just showing what he made. If someone inquires about him selling them it would be done through PM's.
