Front bottom fork corrosion.

Has anybody experienced that his Hammer S front bottom fork laquer is cracking and splitting and if so what is the best way of repairing this?

If your bike is still under warranty take it to the dealer.

Unfortunately the bike is outside it's warranty.

This happens on almost all Hammers. It's called cheap chrome!!

Inverted forks will have the thinner fork tubes on the bottom of the fork. Compress the front fork by holding in the front brake lever and pressing such as scratches, dents or corrosion, you may need to replace the fork.
