Bought an 09 Triumph speedmaster 3 months ago(first bike.) Like it but feeling a bigger bike might suite my future needs. Like the Victories. Is there any differnce between 08, 09 and 2010 models of the Kingpins. Dealer has what appears to be a great deal on new 08. Any input on this or other aspects of Victories are appreciated. Took a quick ride on a Vegas and hit the pegs. Is this a recurring problem? Thanks in advance

How is hitting the pegs considered a reoccurring problem? Its only a problem if you scrape them. As long as you ride aggressively you will have the "reoccurring" problem.
There isn't any difference between the model years aside from paint.

On the 2009 8-ball at least, the following were upgraded / changed over the 2008:
LED tail light, doubling the visibility
New gas tank and fuel pump
Different wheel style, 13 lbs lighter
I've only owned my '09 Kpin 8-ball for 2 days, but learned that much while researching.

You got it pretty much covered.
The 03-08 all had LED lights as well, but they had 1/3 of the brightness.

Is there any good site that has videos comparing the 10-11 kingpin 8 ball. I know the engine and the blacked out look on the 11. As a new rider, will one be able to feel the difference between the 2.....

WHAT A GREAT FIRST BIKE! cheers
I was really looking hard at the new Thunderbird but had my heart set on a bagger! The Rocket was cool but it was just TOO HEAVY and jumped on a Cross Roads!
You are going to hit pegs more often on any bike that has forwards vs mid controls (This is what the Speedmaster has right).
As far a Vics go, they are all pretty bullet proof!
