Anyone know of any issues with clutch cables on 07's? I just had the second one break in an 8 month period. The first one broke at the hand lever. This time the ball on the tranny side broke off. Luckily I was in a safe place both times. I'd hate for this to happen while I'm many miles from no-where.

Any recomendations for one that might be stronger?

I had one break 100 miles from civilization last summer. My bike had about 15,000 miles on it.
The cables are prone to breaking. You have to keep the ends lubed.
I replaced mine with a Barnett cable.About $80 and seems to be of better quality than OEM.
I also bought a sav-ur-ride emergency cable
that is just a cable with no sheath and a removable end.$40 and it slides right in the old sheath and you are back on the road in five minutes.I keep this in the saddle bag.

Not sure if any of them are stronger then others. But the key to increasing the life of them is proper lubrication. The other is making sure there are no sharp edges areound where either end is attached.

Keeping one of the emergency repair kits I sell helped me out in a pinch. I was back in the road in 20 minutes.

Thanks. I found the lube advice under the Kingpin or Jackpot section. This last one had about 3500 miles on it and the dealer did the replacement. No bags, so no place to carry spares, but might not be a bad thing to keep one of those emergency kits on hand anyway. Will also get some of the lube that was recomended.

Actually they fit real nice behind the side covers of the vegas style bikes. Just my .02
