My bike just started revving high at idle...I can hold the throttle back to keep it around 900 to 1000 but if I release it she creeps up to 2000 plus??? Also if I pull all back full I can get her to stall???

check your battery and charging system sometimes idle will go up b/c of a low voltage to the battery or the battery has got to low so it is trying to charge youre battery by increasing the rpm.

Your throttle cable adjustment is all screwed up if you can roll the throttle back and lower your idle. An 05 Vic is not smart enough, and does not have the ability to raise idle by itself

That is what I guessed. Is there a description on how to adjust this anywhere, or should I leave this to the pro's?
Not afraid to wrench on it as I know it was damaged previously and may not have been fixed 100% by the PO.
