There are no more cross roads and I have to wait until the 2011 information comes out now I was told. I have been tossing the cross roads and the Harley road king back and forth and I have a feeling a new one will be sitting in my garage soon. Harley information will be out at the end of July and I heard that the Victory information should be out very soon, any know? Thanks

Shark Cycle in Stafford Springs, CT has a 2011 Cross Roads listed on their web page as in stock if that helps.http://www.sharkcycle.com/cgi-bin/scdisplay.asp?vehicle=mc

That is interesting how it is listed a 2011 early delivery at 2010 pricing and due the first week of July and only one bike. The dealer I have been dealing with said that they would not have all of the options for 2011 until around the end of June and then they could be ordered and could take up to 2 months. Thanks for the reply.

Hi! My first post on this site:
I just ordered my CC last Saturday. I close the deal this coming Saturday, and theoretically take delivery by the Saturday after that. What the salesman told me was that there are no more 2010s anywhere, so the company is not making any changes to the 2011 version and is just trying to get them out as quickly as possible to meet the demand. Of course that raises the question of what, exactly, makes my new bike a 2011... Anyway, I assume it's the same for the CR.

Along with that, does anyone have any tips for a new buyer? Is the extended warranty worth it, what are the must-have accessories, what should I wait and get after riding the bike for a while, etc.?

I would expect the last week in July for the 2011 info to come out. The dealer at the demo I attended this weekend indicated that, once the truk leaves his dealership, it is headed to MN to load up with 2011 stock. These bikes will be brought to the dealer show in Orlando in late July. Sales rep at the dealership thought the website would be updated by 7-26.

I don't care if they make any changes. Except they need to make the bikes faster by painting them BLUE.

As far as stock goes thats BS!! Thats a dealer trying to keep you from going somewhere else to purchase.

diamondrmp -

I shouldn't have called them 2011 stock. I should have called them 2011 demo models. The truck at his dealership was going to pick up the demo bikes for the annual dealer meeting in Orlando being held at the end of July. He made no claim about having 2011 models in house by July. Sorry for any confusion.

I guess you're right, Diamondrmp. I just got a call today, and my bike won't ship 'til the 19th, and should get to the dealer's 3-4 days after that -- assuming there are no other 'delays.' He did say that I'll get the 2010 pricing, and that the 2011s will be more expensive. Again, though, I'm talking to a salesman who's got me on the line, so take that for what it's worth.

Of course, as soon as I sign the paperwork, the new bikes will come out and be twice as cool.

I was in the dealership yesterday with a friend and I test drove the CR and CC...I was told Victory is all done making the CC for 2010 as well. They only have 3 left in stock in their two big warehouses. Apparently they did sell well and have made up a large portion of their sales.
