It’s easy to keep too much material from flapping in the wind with the buckle adjustment tabs on the lower sides. Unlike Velcro that’s sometimes used to do this, these (obviously) will stay put!

A quick review of both Riders Discount and my Alpinestar Alloy jacket....

I was skeptical of buying from Riders Discount...call it internet paranoia...Well did a little checking and found them on E-bay, they have a decent review on there. I then sent Michael an e-mail asking questions and got immediate responses back with full detailed answers to my questions...Unsure of which size jacket to get, I sent Michael the information and he hesitantly suggested a size for me. I found a local dealer who sells Alpinestar and tried on a couple of jackets. It turns out I would have fit in the size suggested by Michael, but it woud have been snug in the shoulders, arm length and the gut. I needed the next size up, I sent Michael an e-mail and on the 4th of July (Yes the HOLIDAY) I get a reply back from him saying "he had pulled the order and the new order was placed" of course this added time for shipping...No problem I made the change not him!!

Communication was excellent and response time could not have been better, excellent customer service, even when I changed the order on him....So to sum it up, Riders Discount is a GREAT company to deal with and the PRICING can not be beat, just I checked on this jacket and COULD NOT find it any cheaper then what Michael sold it to me for!!! I will buy from them again if I need anything!! thumb up thumb up

Now for the Alpinestar Alloy Jacket, I have only had a chance to wear it once, since we have had rain and 90+ degree days...but when I did wear it this thing BREATHS, you would not believe how well the air flows thru this jacket!!! I ride a Victory Vision which has a full fairing and the driver is fairly well protected, even with this I could feel the air flowing through the jacket! It has leather in all the right places, JUST IN CASE of a tumble...Fit and finish is of course top notch as it is Alpinestar....Very impressed with the jacket and how well it flows air!! thumb up thumb up
