No, this probably isn’t for your average rider, but if you do a lot of miles or just like to know that everything is set to factory specs, then this is for you. Capable of tightening individual spokes from 1 to 7 Newton-meters, the kit comes in an ABS plastic case with five nipples in 6.1mm, 6.3mm, 6.5mm and 6.7mm along with a 6-point spline drive. Each nipple is made from S45C hi-carbon steel and then heat treated for hardness.

Each interchangeable nipple has a positioning detent on it for proper tool alignment so the moment of force is correct. This is critical accurate torque measurement.
