Hi all from the UK.
I have just bought a 2007 Hammer and for the record i love it. Its silver with stage one.
I have a couple of questions if anyone can help. The Victory Badlands seat, how does it fit as it clearly dosent fit the same as the standard seat. 0il? Yes i have been through the oil section but there is so much conflicting advice. Basicaly is a good quality 20/50 semi synthetic ok? We seem to have a few different brands in the UK, Silkoline is my prefered oil for my other bikes, any comments? Lash from the primary in highish gears, not a huge amount but is it normal? Ok that was more than a couple but any advice/help would be gratfully receved.
Cheers folks

Welcome to the VF!
As for the Badlands seat...have not seen one installed and in person so can not comment.
As for the oil, I think you are okay with a good quality oil as long as it meets the OEM minimum specs. Your owners manual should give you a quick list of them if not mistaken. I have heard from guys saying that running full synthetic will cause clutch slippage....don't know that first hand. Been thinking of switching to Royal Purple myself but have not seen much chatter on it.
cheers

I think I have the seat you are talking about. I have the one with flames. As far as installation goes, you have to remove the old seat by removing the allen bolts recessed in the holes that hold the cowling. You then drill two new holes as per a jig that is provided, and drill two other existing hole larger. From there it is just four bolts.
I am very happy with it. My biggest worry was that it would detract from the lines of the bike, and it does not at all. It looks awesome. It also provides more lower back support than the stocker, and more cushion for a passenger.
EDIT: If you get one and choose to install it yourself, use a step type bit on the two holes that you have to enlarge. I first tried to use a regular drill bit and it "sucked' right through the hole. I was lucky it didn't pop the tire.

There are many doing parts here in the US. When you need something, let me know. If I don't have it or can not get it, I will point you in the right direction.thumb up

Seats for the hammer NOEMTZ. What options do i have? I like the badlander seat but in the UK it is £340 which is about $480. Does anyone else do a similar seat for less or is this the going rate? Sorry for so many questions but being new to the Victory world im full of them.
