Just joined this forum and wanted to say hey. I am Brad in Cape Girardeau, which is in the southeast portion of MO on the Mississippi River.

I have decided to buy a larger bike for my gf and I to ride 2 up and like the Vicory's I have tested. Now just need to find one that I like and can afford.

One question I have. What year did Victory bikes start using a 6 speed. I know some of the models still use a 5, but I would really like the 6. I can not afford a brand new one, so I will be looking for a used bike.

05 saw the birth of the 100/6 on the Hammer. Since 06 all Victory bikes had the 100/6 aside from the Vegas 8ball. The 106/6 was introduced in 09 I think.

Buying used can be a great deal!!

google "victory motorcycles for sale" thats how i found mine,
dont google "cruiser motorcycles for sale or you will have to wade thru
thousands of harleys. it is mind boggeling the number of harleys on the market.

I had not thought about google. I have found one on Craig list close by that I want to call about taking a look at. It is an 03 with 28,xxx and an asking price of 6,500. I can live with the 92/5 rather than the 100/6, if it feels right.
