Im trying to get a 99 V92C running that was sitting for a couple years. I replaced the fuel pump and filter because the pump was frozen. I got is started. After it warm up it will not stay running. The readout on the odom. Reads "check engine H8." Can anyone help me with this? Im new to the whole bike repain thing but have automotive eperience.

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I am experiencing the same problem on my victory v92c. Same check engine light.

I would say check the normal things. The plugs, wires, injectors. Clean the tb.... so on and so forth.

One note is that these bikes have map sencors. Which do not like to be left sitting. I would say test it w a multi meter. Make sure the thing works. And another note about maps is that they get real finnikey if left to set. So get the thing started then adjust the idle screw to hold a high idle. After the map gets a bit of use she will straighten up for ya.... this is just a thought... but i would also reccomend changing out all the fluids. And inspect each fluid for contamination. You never know what the hell could get in to those fluids as they sat.
