: Colorado Denver and north meet up

A new addition to this forum- handle is Kegs, asked about meetups or bike nights etc when he learned I live in Longmont. Well, no is the answer to that question.

Should we, as in those of us within easy riding distance of say between Fort Collins and Denver figure out a place to get together and throw the bull over a couple burgers and tamales? Maybe put together a ride for our bad selves. Just saying it's a thing that riders from 1000 miles away do, get themselves to Colorado to burn up asphalt. Maybe there's something to it.

I am just a transplanted New Hampshire boy so my ability to map killer rides around here is limited to roads that end up at casinos. My gut is that there are far better tour guides to suggest a good day trip for a posse of Vicsters.

On the other hand I can eat a mean burger so if I have to I will find a joint for a meet up... assuming there is interest but nobody is willing to step up and offer a location.

This could be cool or it can die on the vine. If you are local enough and have interest, let me know. If you have people skills and want to coordinate, by all means jump in. Pop is not known as a social maven.

OK, I'll start. Here's a date Wednesday the 10th of July. Say 7PM for grub at some outdoor joint.
Show off bikes, tell lies, decide if we can put up with each other.

Now, your turn. Somebody pitch in and come up with a location, or a change of venue, or change the time and date, whatever.

Well, I'm waiting...

Hey guys I am local to the Denver and Colorado Springs area. We have a new victory motorcycle owners group of about 20 Victory riders. We will be doing several rides and get togethers this summer and welcome more participation. If you are in the area give us a holler over at the VMCdotcom or look at the Palmer Divide Victory Riders Group on Facebook.

Hey Pop, I'm new to the forum, and a new Victory owner. Picking mine up in California next weekend. I live in Loveland and saw your meet-up post. I'm game for a meet up if we can get some more people interested. I'll meet anywhere between Longmont and Fort Collins. There is no shortage of good places to eat in the area. I've lived here about 2-1/2 years now and am getting to know my way around pretty good. But I'm sure there are still some good roads I don't know about yet.

Joker I'm skeered of your bike.

Everybody going on about how you can always tell your Victory in a sea of Harleys. How am I going to tell my bike in a pond of red Cross Countrys?

I'm trying to work with you amlucent but for a couple things.

Facebook is the spawn of satan so that's a nonstarter.

Pop tries to keep my memberships down to a manageable number, somewhere in the vicinity of one. Throw the old boy a bone and hook us up for one of your bunches scheduled get togethers. Info would be appreciated, joining extra forums, meh.

We need to start an owner's club for red Cross Countries. We'd look like a Shriner's parade with all the matching bikes. LOL

I looked up that Palmer Divide club and it is one of the *** local chapters. Maybe we should start a chapter for northern Colorado. We could get together with that chapter when we ride south or when they ride north.

Hey, have you ridden on a "second Saturday" ride with the Fort Collins dealership? Their web site says free food and a group ride the second Saturday of every month. I might check it out in August.
