Has anyone had problems with clutch cable breaking? I have had to replace mine 3 times and that was even with a clutch assist on it.

disassemble the clutch cable from the handle and inspect the
handle for any sharp edges and sand or de-burr any problem
areas. lube handle mechanism and clutch cable ball
with molly paste (as well as the cable end that attaches
to the engine). lubricate the cable from the handle end
with an aerosol cable lube until you see it dripping from
the bottom end of the cable. in the future click on the
"search" tab at the top of the page and type in your
maintenence questions there are tons of old threads
on this subject. to save yourself some time and frustration
you will probably need to order the molly lube from victory/
polaris.

I have done all that and it has still come apart at the clutch lever end. Confirmed that the lever does not have any sharp edges and use grease to help it.

Are you replacing with an OEM cable? Order a Barnett cable. It will last longer and make the clutch pull easier. If you have filed the barrel inside of the clutch arm down then I'm willing to bet the Easy assist is your problem. Many posts on this. The Easy assist creates a bad angle for the cable causing premature wear. Since you've replaced the cable three times, I think this is a good time to take this advice and save yourself from future frustration. All in all, I think you will be ok after you ditch the clutch assist.

I put the clutch asssit on after the second time and have checked the clutch lever for sharp edges which are the arlen ness clutch levers. The last cable i bought is not an oem cable, so maybe it will not break. I do not think the clutch assist is the issue because the end breaks at the handle bar end.
