Is anyone aware of bars or bar risers that are available to bring the bars back a bit further, say and inch or so?

Thanks

since you only need an inch, i suggest buying a backrest and adjusting it forward. two to three inches more upright riding will solve your problem.

Please don't get me wrong.
I find it funny how there are so many that want to change the vision bars.
The reason being is I rode harleys for years and most didn't even thing of moving the bars they just put up with it. Bent backs or leaning way back they just rode.
With been-gay ready to apply.
We truly have the better bike thumb up

well i guess i must be the exception. I'm 6'6'' with long arms (41'') so before i signed papers on my vision, the shorter bars were a must. i think you will agree.

Yea, and just the opposite here. I'm 5'6 with 32" arms and the bars are a stretch for me. I will likely change to the 2" pullback. I ride long and hard and want to be comfortable. Not really interested in being in enough pain to use ben-gay. In fact I just rode the bike from Boulder CO to Fort Defiance VA. Left late Saturday afternoon and arrived home today around noon.

I have tested the bars from Heavy Metal Designz and they are great, but a little pricy. I guess you have to decide how a little is worth.

Define "shorter" Imdman...... there are Vision bars sold by Victory that are 2" further away from you than stock. These are used by riders with longer arms. I'm 6'7" and they are perfect. The Vision feels like it corners better for me when using these, as compared to stock.

I was thinking if I had a backrest maybe i could just lay back more to straightn my arms out. I just can't get relaxed like I think I should be able to might still need short bars in the end

I actually got Day-long to mod my seat up an inch and back 1.5". I thought I'd try the stock bars again as I was moved back, but they still felt too close and unnatural.

My only wish is that there were some bars that were a few inches higher than stock. I'd have a go at HMD's "apes" (4" higher), but we worked out it would cost $300 in shipping to get them out to Aus  ....
