I am brand new to this forum and the world of Victory motorcycles. I bought a new left over '07 Hammer. It has been sitting in the showroom since it arrived at the dealership Before I bought it they had to put a new battery in it. It has 6 miles on it so it has been ran around a little. When I started it up with the old gas in it I noticed the engine light on. It seems to be a little rough running. Which I am sure is due to the old gas. I plan on running the gas out next week. If this is the cause of the light, will it go out when I put fresh fuel in it? I tried disconnecting the neg for a little while, but the light is still on. I am stationed in here in Germany. And unfornately there isn't any Victory dealers over here as far as I know. Hopefully someone can give a little insight on this.
