Anyone change the bars on their Vegas. I have a 07 8-ball and want some sort of drag bars for it. Aftermarket still sucks for Victory so have any of you guys done anything yet? I was thinking of flybars. I'm 6'4'' so I don't reallyneed much pullback. Let me know what you've done and should I tackle the change myself. I'm mechanically capable but never done too much work on bikes, never messed with a throttle.

Check out this setup - might be what you're looking for!

As far as making the swap goes, you don't have to disassemble your throttle to install new bars - just loosen the housing, slide the whole assembly off your stock bars and onto the new ones, re-torque and you should be good to go.

Let me know how they turn out, i have been completely happy with mine. if you are getting them powder coated, it may take a little longer. he custom made mine and the powder coater comapny he uses waits until they get enough parts to fill the oven, so it took a little longer than expected for me to get mine.

kwdunlap: I haven't been on in awhile to check things out but could you e-mail me pictures ofyour bars as well? I think I'm going to order the same ones this winter and maybe I'll just e-mail your pictures to them to make sure I get the same ones.

Thanks. joshuav6.3@gmail.com

Ohh by the way, did any of you guys have to change any cables or wires with the new bars? How about with running the wires inside?

Thanks for the heads up Hot Rod. How did they handle the money situation? I unfortunately do not have the talent to make my own.

Anyone else have handlebar recomendations? I like the fly-bars but don't need the pullback or the price tag on them.

no, your stock wiring and cables will work.

Here is what I HAD on my bike. They are made by Santa Rosa Vee Twin. I'm actually selling them now.

i did not, i made sure the rise and pullback were the same. i did not want to lose the comfort and the stock rise and pullback were perfect for my reach.
