I am thinking of chopping the front and rear Kingpin fenders about 4" shorter. Let me know what you think of the Photoshopped image.

I like it. I have had simlair thoughts about the KP fenders.
My other thought was to just get custom fenders, and a paint job the tank with them...

Custom fenders is another option. The challenge is it's hard to visualize what those fenders look like on the bike as they don't often provide an image. If anyone has replaced their fenders with custom ones, would you post some pictures?

I did consider the option of going with a Hammer front fender and a Vegas rear fender too. Factory cost on those are about $1700 total. They are hard to find in the classifieds as well.

They are on ebay all the time.

The yellow bike is just a black KP. The brown one is Zach Ness's bike.

The Z. Ness one is sweeter than sweet! :not worthy:

Zach Ness? as in a re-worked 2011 Zach Ness Vegas?
Or a 1 off custom? Is that a 21" front wheel?

Actually I think that is a 2010 KP that Zach did. Yes its a one off.

Notice he changed the front forks and I think its a 23 front but not sure.

I've been thinking about adjusting the rear fender to deal with the horrible license plate location. I was looking at the MBW radius plate, but at $300+..... I talked with a client who owns a body shop and we were thinking about frenching in the license plate. I like the look of the stock fender, but get a lot of "oh, I didn't know they still made Indians...." from non-riders....I guess it has that look.

Thats a one off from Vance and Hines. RPW makes a similar one called the Big Slash.
