ndabunka 11-15-2011, 06:13 PM Nice looking new exhaust options. We would naturally be interested in performance details of these pipes vs the existing options from the following major manufacturers: D&D, Ness & RPW.
Also, are there any online sound bites for these pipes so that we can make our own side-by-side comparisons?
Donzo 11-15-2011, 08:58 PM Good to see another big company bringing out products for the X bikescheers

HelzBelz 01-14-2012, 09:10 AM Anybody tried these yet?
I'll ask as well. Has anyone installed? Wondering if they have a solution for the saddlebag guard mount?

I have sold two of these and no feedback yet on it. there is not saddlebag mount for it either.

Do they provide some fuel mapping solution for them?
hazema 02-01-2012, 08:09 PM I put them on my XR. The chrome is great and the sound is perfect. The tips are very well made too. I can get out of the neighborhood in the morning without waking anyone up, but if I get on it the sound is awesome.
Haven't done anything else to it yet, the bike is only about a month old so far.

Do the prices above include the tips? I suspect that they are additional but don't see them on your site.

The tips are $103.96 each no matter on the style. We don't have these on our site have to order them through me. I can get them all right now but the black quick connect slip on. Nor the polished fluted end caps or the black fluted end caps.

Do you have a big gap where the front heat shield and the bassani muffler meet? Every picture i see has that gap. The shield does not sit flush with the muffler.

Same as with the D&D pipes, right? You can leave the shield on there is you want for the protection or toss it on the work bech if you want a cleaner look, right?

No, on the D&D's there is no gap. The front shield wraps over the built in shield of the D&D mufflers.
aor98 02-03-2012, 06:04 PM here you can see the gap
CrossRoads 02-03-2012, 06:34 PM No gap here. :D

RedRocker 02-04-2012, 02:24 PM Thanks for the pics, CrossRoads. Not liking that gap, but I like the tip choices. That's the only downside (minor) with the D&D's IMHO. I've heard the D&D's on a XC (Ness) XR and other bikes in person. Decided to go with them for my XC when I had enough coin.

Did you have to do any other mods, or did you just install and go?
