Has anyone installed a heal shifter on their vision? What is the best way to install the shifter? Can the shifter be installed without removing the floor boards? Thanks inadvance for any information.

We put a heel shifter on the wife's CR and I am not sure I would do it again. If they are using the same one for the Vision you might want to sit on a Victory and see if you like it. I personally don't. It is rather hard to find with your heel.

Wouldn't ride without mine. 2011 Vision.
Install is straight forward by removing a linkage bolt, the assembly positioning allen bolt and sliding the shifter out. Heel shifter is 2 bolts to add it.

Don't know what year you have, but a 2011 is a 2 piece. I think prior year bikes might have had a one piece.

Hers is the 2 piece also. Maybe it is just me but I have a hard time finding it. She also has 2" heels to make up for a bit of vertical challenge which makes it a little hard too.

Just a personal thing. Seems it's hit or miss with the OEM shifter.
Some like it, some don't. My bike before the Vision had one and this one works good for me.

I installed the OEM heal shifter on my 08 VV about a month ago and the istallation was easy, didnt have to remove floorboards, I love it and have no problem with finding it.

I have a 2008 VV with the heal/toe shifter.
I love it. Had one on an '85 Gold Wing and liked that one.
This one is better, with the small heal plate it keeps the board open
for foot movement. Road a Kingpin with one and my foot felt
confined because of the long peg sticking out limiting foot
movement front to back. Road a hd with one and felt the same way.
With the small heal plate in the rear it keeps the board open so I
still have the total board to move my foot.

I just bought my vision and having the heel toe on my venture I really like it. I looked at the OEM one but it looks like it sets so close to the engine your foot would hit the engine. Is there anyone else who makes one? If you have the OEM one is it hard to find or do you hit the case? Thanks

I installed mine about 2 months ago. Took a little getting used to, but I like it a lot. There is an after mkt. out there I will try and find the name and let you know.

Kewelmetal makes one that is similar to the one on the venture. The oem gives a lot of room on the vision floor board.
