Sorry about the late reply, never got a notification on your message.
But yes, I removed the baffles and saw there ws about a 4 inch section in the baffle that looked like catalytic convertor material (very restricting) so I cut it off and reinstalled what was left of the baffles! It sounds 90% better, when at idle it sounds great and when you are cruising and crack the throttle it sounds awesome, what I don't like is the sound when you let off the gas and are coasting, it sounds very raspy! But for what it cost me ($0) it was worth it!!! I need to have the bike remapped as well, seems to be running rich since I cut the baffles. Also I have an S&S airbox put on by previous owner, not sure if he bought the mapping card with it or not. Having that checked at dealer next weekend.

Just saw your post about exhaust. I've got the Ness 09 (#109). Love my bike - looks a lot like yours! I've got the same Vic swept pipes (I think) as you do. I agree - I want a louder, throughtier sound also. Was thinking about just taking the baffles out but I hear that would possibly decrease the horses! Did you ever make any changes with your exhaust since your post?
