Anyone have any experience with car/motorcycle vinyl wraps? Got an idea to apply red racing stripes on my Jackpot. Figure the vinyl only costs 30 bucks and if I don't like it I can take it off.

Be careful I order stuff off eBay for my gsxr to outline the rim and when you take it off it took some of the paint off. I also didn't heat it up, but use a soap solution so it's easy to move on the bike

I gotta say man those bars look sick on ur jackpot, I've been thinking of putting a set on mine. How do you like them? Any different in the handling?

I never had any other bars on the bike to compare them to but I don't have any problems with handling. My last bike was a Honda Shadow 750 which was easier cornering around the neighborhood but I'm used to it now. I don't think it's the bars as much, just the whole bike with the tires and size. One thing I don't like with the bars is that they block the indicator lights. They switched the location to the speedometer in newer models. maybe yours.

I just seen this topic. Hopefully you've found your answer by now, but if not... Vinyl is easy. A little bit of alcohol to wipe everything down good before you start, a weak soapy water solution in a spray bottle, razor knife, squeegee, heat gun, and patience. I'd say there's some YouTube videos out there on vinyl application.

Thanks for the advice. I still haven't done the stripes.Do you know a reliable place I can order vinyl from. I ordered from CarCustomz online and they never sent it or charged me. They don't respond to emails and I can't find their phone number. Found a lot of people online with similar scenarios.

Go to your local sign shop. They usually have any color you're looking for and can cut it to the exact size you need.
