DANN,
I absolutely LOVE the red/block on your bike! It looks really nice. What saddlebags do you have on there? And did they come with, or did you buy them?
I picked up the bags at a local motorcycle swap meet. They are
actually throw overs i converted. I fabed up the brackets at work
and reinforced the inside with quarter inch plywood to give it strength.
You gotta do what ya gotta do when you don't have a pocket full of
cash!
Thanks for the complement.
I understand, don't be a stranger on here. Keep us updated on your health. Hope for the best. If you ever make it to southern Indiana or Louisville Kentucky let me know. Would love to meet up with you.
I'm not going anywhere... I'll be back on a Vic soon enough, but I'm giving it at least a year. To be honest, the look on my wife's face when she saw the bike, and all the blood and chunks of meat on it up close in the garage made me realize she is really not ready, and won't be for a while. Gotta allow EVERYTHING to heal I suppose.
Just picked it up and didn't know what they were as they aren't marked anywhere I can see .....,also there is an add on under the right side cover. Fuel controller I guess. I will get a pic of that when I get time but that is my assumption . Possibly part of stage 1 kit?
Hey wbb, looks like we got the same model bike. I just joined this forum yesterday and although your post is about a year old, was wondering how you've liked the bike?
DStan, I love my 02 DTC, 36000 trouble free miles on her. When I take the Victory out it always draws attention, yours is the third one I have seen. I havn't ridden the TC much the past couple of years, but it still runs great. I was working away from home in 2010 and bought a 2010 Road King. The Road King is a great bike, but I still like the TC better. Take care.
Welcome DStan, got a good lookin TC there! I've always liked the rails.. Only time I had an opportunity to buy some I didnt have the cash... shame... They look great! Give a shout if you got any questions and again, welcome to the forums!
